Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make St. Helena Optometry a proud provider of vision care products and services in St. Helena.

Matthew R. Hileman, O.D.

Dr. Hileman, O.D. received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of San Diego in 1997 and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley in 2002. He immediately began practicing in St. Helena. In 2004, he purchased the practice of Charles Bailey, OD. He participates in the Infant SEE public health program that is spearheaded by former President Jimmy Carter. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Redwood Empire Optometric Association, and in the past was a part-time clinical professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry where he shared his expertise with students working their way to becoming doctors of optometry.
